Travelling to Bowood

  • Exit M4 at Junction 17
  • Follow signs to "Chippenham"
  • At next roundabout, pick up the signs for "A4 Calne". Follow signs for several miles, around and through Chippenham
  • Approx. 3-4 miles out of Chippenham, you will see a large white pub on the right hand side (Lysley Arms)
  • Continue straight up the hill, it will be signed to Bowood House
  • Approx. ½ mile up, on brow of the hill, turn right into Derryhill village
  • Continue for approx. 20 metres straight ahead you reach the sharp corner
  • Turn through the white gates, for Bowood House and Gardens
